Zurili SMS

The easiest way to get your SMS up and running is to use Zurili SMS

It’s much better than other SMS providers because it’s:

  1. Easy to configure
  2. Reliable
  3. Easy to troubleshoot
  4. Fast
  5. Accepts replies and keeps them in threaded conversations in the client record
  6. More detailed delivery record – can see when message is actually on the client phone!
  7. Advanced automations allowing reminders to be sent with no manual effort at all i.e. fully automatic even on Sundays 😉
  8. Allows easy control of costing

You can see the fees here. Basically you need a SMS number to send and receive on at $15/month, sending a message is 14 cents, receiving and SMS is 2 cents.

To set it up, you open an account with Zurili, set up sync with Spinalogic, then set up SMS with the wizard. It’ll take about half an hour and is super easy to use from then on.

If you do have any trouble, Zurili support can help you end-to-end.

Non-Zurili SMS Providers

If you really want to remain integrated with another SMS provider here’s troubleshooting points to help if you get stuck.

First, how they work. When you send a SMS, to a Non-Zurili SMS Provider, it is first sent as an email to the sms provider. The email has the return address of your practice email. They accept the email then convert it to a SMS.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you can send email reliably. If you cannot, you will not be able to send SMS reliably. You can troubleshoot email sending here.
  2. Ensure your SMS Provider has sufficient credit.
  3. Contact the support for your SMS Provider.
