Stripe – Transaction Appearance on Patient Credit Card Statement
Stripe is a convenient gateway for using Zero Touch automated payments.
When you take a payment via the Stripe gateway, a transaction appears on the credit or debit card statement for the patient showing the payment has gone through. Here are some notes on those transactions so you can avoid surprising patients.
Appearance on statement
The appearance of the transaction on the statement has two parts:
- The ‘statement descriptor’. This is determined by your settings in the Stripe dashboard.
- The location from which Stripe determines your transaction originated. This you cannot edit but it should be the same on each transaction.
Spinalogic does not determine the appearance of these transactions in any way.
