Zero Touch Payment Gateway – Stripe

Our recommended Payment Gateway.
Stripe is modern and super easy and fast to set up. Stripe is the only payment gateway with instant pay available where you can take secure payments via SMS, email and QR code. Stripe is also compatible with apple and google pay.

The Stripe Payment Gateway can be used with either Zero-Touch Payments or with Checkout.

Open an Account with Stripe

Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/register and open an account. It will take you about 10 min to complete.

Make sure your account is ‘Active’.

Put Stripe Settings in Spinalogic

Go to Settings..System Settings..Accounts.

Click the green ‘+’ to create a new account:

Set the account type to ‘stripe’ and give it a meaningful name. Click the link ‘Change…’ to get the secret then public keys from Stripe:

Use the link ‘Open Stripe…’ to take you to the page in your Stripe Dashboard where your keys are.

BE SURE USE “LIVE KEYS”, NOT TEST KEYS! Ensure ‘View test data’ is switched off on the top-right of the dashboard:

Copy and paste the Secret Key. Repeat for the Public Key.

Select your currency and click the ‘Test’ button. If everything is good, you’ll see something like this:

You MUST see the green tick AND the ‘Live mode’ badge.

‘Live mode’ means you’re connected and transactions will be for real 🙂
